Life in the Cube

Pissed off my coworker today. She told me about the man who raped a 5 year old to death without noticing that he was a Muslim and she was his daughter. Apparently they let him out of jail and there was a big uproar and he had to go back. I personally think demons should not be allowed to continue to inhabit soulless humans and he should just be put down. Anyway, in the conversation I said all Musl...ims are potential terrorists because it is the basic tenet of their religion. She said she didn't believe that. She said that is like saying all Christians are like timothy McVeigh. Does she sound like someone who only gets a steady stream of liberal news? She said Muslims in America aren't like that. I pointed out that the Boston bombers were in America. One of them was even a citizen! So she clings to not believing it, I say I don't "believe" it either, I KNOW it. That triggered some anger response, because she rudely said never mind turned her back to me. It got really frosty really fast.

How can these people be so convinced or what there is absolutely no evidence of, and what there is plenty of evidence to the contrary of? And pointing out the obvious truth just shuts them down. I know she wanted to think I am a racist. That probably would have been her next word. But I don't hate the people caught in Islam; at least not the ones that have their humanity still. I hate the evil they do, and the evil creaor of it. And it is my instinct and natural response as a Christian, to come out against evil hard.

Hard. And Islam is evil. I was the good people caught in it to get out before they lose their souls. Here is your sign: Muslims never come out against the terrible atrocities committed by their brethren. Instead they come out against racism and profiling that must logically and sensibly follow the fact of so many from one demographic committing such crimes. They never say they werent muslims who did it, and seldom do they blast them for it. They don't question their religion and leave it for its violence. They are never shocked or outraged. No, they get mad that anyone would think a Muslim would do such a thing. Even though it is all Muslims all the time.

Whereas Christians do not claim brotherhood with McVeigh, and we were shocked and outraged by what he did, and we were calling for his punishment. See the difference? We come out hard against evil. Islam doesn't.

But hey, there is nothing new under the sun. The enemy has always had a group or groups he used as a scourge of innocent people. Just now it is most obviously islam. There are others working just as hard and much more insidiously behind the scenes. Our enemies have us outnumbered and surrounded. What are we going to do?
