Survivor's guilt. There isn't any in Heaven. You may be our parent, our child, our sibling, best friend, or spouse, and we may or may not have done all we could to contend mightily in the faith for you. If you make the decision to go with the enemy, your only chance to be mourned for your foolishness is while we are still present in the flesh. In Heaven we will mourn no more. Your free will choic...e will be honored by us forgetting you. We will praise God for somehow managing to make free will possible despite His omnipotence. We won't be missing the ones who chose poorly.
So if someone is contending in the faith for you right now, might want to pay attention. Might want to find out for yourself if there is anything to this God stuff. Time does run out to make the choice. And once the Lord makes an end, that end is so thorough that even family isn't mourned. Heaven is the place for rejoicing. There is no mourning there.
